Presenting the results of ECA’s latest data updates, prepare yourselves ahead of upcoming salary and package reviews for your mobile staff and learn about developments which may impact the management of your assignee workforce in 2025.

This session will touch on the following discussion points:

  1. Key changes in assignment related allowances (e.g. COLA and Location (Hardship) Allowances) in locations of note in the region;
  2. How inflation has impacted costs for business travel and short-term assignments;  
  3. Which assignment-related benefit costs have increased most in 2024, or are forecast to do so in 2025, and the reasons why; and
  4. Major changes in immigration, social security and tax legislation that have an impact on managing Global Mobility in the region.

Lee Quane - Director of Business Development – Asia  
Lee Quane is ECA's Director of Business Development for  Asia. He is responsible for providing solutions which reflect the Global Mobility requirements of international organisations who are either headquartered in, or operate in, the Asia region. His scope of specialism includes providing software and data recommendations which meet client requirements and working with organisations to create, review or enhance their GM policies and practices. Lee has approx. 25 years of GM experience, of which a large amount has been gained since relocating to ECA’s Hong Kong operations in 2003
